There’s no single “best” month for Asia. There is a best month for your route. Here’s how we think about East, Southeast and Central Asia.
East Asia
Japan and Korea shine in spring (sakura) and autumn (foliage). Summers are hot and humid; winters are clear and great for cities, illuminations and onsen trips. China is vast — north and south peak at different times; April–June and September–November suit most classic circuits.
Southeast Asia
Mainland SE Asia is generally driest November–March. April can be intensely hot. Island coasts differ: Andaman vs Gulf of Thailand, Palawan vs Visayas — we match beach finales to the right shore for your dates.
Himalaya & Central Asia
Bhutan is loveliest March–May and September–November. Central Asia’s mountains favour May–September; Silk Road cities are superb in spring and autumn. Winters are harsh but magical if you’re prepared.
